Summer Pavilion

Concept: Drawing inspiration from architects Ashton Raggatt Mcdougall, this semi-permanent outdoor pavilion features an innovation geometric design, using vibrant colours to contrast with the surrounding parkland. The openness of the design encourages interaction, while the large staircase acts as a feature and invites one up to the second level. The pavilion provides shelter during the cooler months and includes an upper level deck to be utilised during the warmer months. The upper level wall, with irregular square cut outs, is four times the width of the other existing walls, providing a place where one can sit and simply enjoy the view.
