The Henkan Lamp is inspired by the simplicity of minimalist Japanese design. The word “Henkan” in Japanese translates to “transformation”, which describes one of the unique features of the lamp shade design. The sleek, rectangular packaging eliminates all non-essential forms and features a simple, repeated geometric pattern derived from the lamp shade dieline. The colour palette is soft and harmonious, which compliments the light minimal nature of lamp inside. The lamp shade is created from Tyvek – a durable, water resistant and semi transparent sheet that produces a soft mood lighting.
